Mercury in Sagittarius

Mercury enters into Sagittarius today, triggering a journey of the mind. Mercury rules over the mental plane, how we bring information in, process it, for new opinions, and then express that out into the world. Sagittarius carries an energy of wanting to learn and absorb knowledge about any topic that is not only interesting, but allows them to reach new heights in their wisdom.

Mercury has been in Scorpio which lead us to dig really deep within our subconscious emotions and memories to reveal details of information and truth that will help us grow and evolve. Now, with Mercury in Sag, we want to learn what we can do with this new perspective and knowledge of self. We are eager to take information in, but also to share what it is we’ve learned. We want to communicate and express ourselves, speaking our truth for all to hear.

There is a direct energy backing our words, and although they may be true and riddled with honesty, they can also come of very direct, blunt, and to the point. We’ll see shift in the topics that interest us, and are very happy to indulged in convos about spiritualism, and the mystical world we live in.

There is a deep sense of wanting to share our beliefs, and to help others expand their minds to ideas they’ve been closed off to. This energy is very excitable, and because of that, we tend to lose focus as we jump from one thing to the next. We may feel a bit scatter brained and overwhelmed where our thoughts are concerned.

Although this energy may cause us to be “in your face” with the overly excited and cheerful expression of truth, we do have to watch out for not over-exaggerating our words and ideas. We also don’t want to bite off more than we can chew. We dream big and adopt grand visions under this influence, which is great to expand the curiosity of the mind, but can come back to bite us once Mercury moves onto Capricorn, bringing us back to earth just before the new year.

Welcome To Sagittarius Season

Congratulations to us all for making it through Scorpio season! It's been a tough energy to navigate and realistically, even Scorpio's are happy to have the season come to a close.

Sagittarius is a fire sign that is so optimistic and cheerful that there's essentially no way to sit in the depths of emotion in Scorpio any longer. When the sun moves into Sagittarius the mood is light, cheery, and ready to explore new areas of the world. This happy-go-lucky sign is far more flexible, creative and expressive than the other fire signs, and far more light-hearted than the stubborn, emotional sign of Scorpio.

If you look at Scorpio season as the unearthing time, the time where our deepest and darkest truths, feelings and desires were forced to the surface, than Sagittarius season is the light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. Sagittarius is known as the philosopher, wanting to learn all there is to know about the world and topics of interest. It's a inquisitive energy, curious about what we should do with the information we received during Scorpio season and how to implement it in our lives to make us better, especially as we look towards the future and what life has in store for us.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter who has been in Aquarius with Saturn play their part in the great awakening that began in 2020. Jupiter in Aquarius has been pushing us to open our minds, to think big, to align with our higher selves to download a vision and dream for the future. This energy has been helping the collective see where we need to active push and progressively take action knocking down the walls of our limiting beliefs to align with new possibilities for the future.

The Sun moving into Sagittarius will infuse us with an upbeat energy and make you feel a bit more open-minded than usual. The Sun is Sag tends to be a straight shooter and a bit blunt with the unfiltered truth, so we have to be mindful of how we are communicating.

Sagittarius season also has tendency for all of us to overstep on other peoples boundaries as they can push your boundaries as well. You may notice that you get cut off in conversation having others speak over you, and of course the frustration levels are higher and trigger points are more sensitive to prompt a fiery reaction. Watch your words as there is a higher potential to come across harsher than you would like, leading to hurt feeling and defensive communications among your family, friends and co-workers.

Regardless of the potential for miscommunications to happen, Sagittarius season will be the light-hearted energy we need coming out of Scorpio season. It will be a time when you are finally feeling a bit more stable, and even more cheerful than usual. It's not just the holiday season adding to your playfulness and bubbly energy, Sagittarius season will infuse you with enough optimism to take you straight through the last chapter of 2021. Mercury, the messenger of the Gods, ruling over our mental plane, how we receive information, form new ideas and expressions, and communicate that information outwards, has moved into the deep, dark waters of Scorpio. Mercury had an extended stay in Libra as we experienced his retrograde helping us to revisit our ideas, reorganize our thoughts, rebalance our relationships, and realign with our vision for the future. Now that Mercury is in Scorpio, our minds will shift into a more analytical state of questioning. We are blending our intellect with our intuition to dig up the important details we’ve shoved to the side within ourselves, and the information we’ve been choosing to avoid in our personal relationships.

The answers we are currently seeking cannot be found in our exterior realities. Instead, we must look within ourselves, trusting the guidance of our intuition and the Universe to reveal to us the details that we need to acknowledge. Mercury moving into Scorpio will be uncomfortable for many people as wading through the emotional and mental shadows within isn’t something that many people are willing to do. Welcome To Scorpio Season

Today the Sun moves out of Libra where we focused on restoring love, peace, harmony, and balance to our lives and relationships, and moves into Scorpio where we dive deep into our unconscious self. 

This past Libra season wasn't really the kind of energy we are use to under this zodiac's influence. Normally, Libra season would be happy and joyful, spreading love and harmony into our relationships, beautifying our surroundings and lending a power of fairness into all we do.

This Libra season was much darker and heavier than usual. We can blame retrograde season - mercury especially - for that, for adding some frustrating fuel to our fire as we really struggled with balancing topics and themes of I vs. You, Me vs. We, Us vs. Them, along with a huge focus into our inner worlds to see what it is we are truly passionate about and what it is we actually desire.

Now the time has come to slip into the mysterious side of life as Scorpio season takes over. Scorpio being the most mis-understood sign of the zodiac, is a natural detective that isn't afraid to dive deep within one's self to explore the inner most dreams and desires of our Soul.

Notoriously known for death, rebirth, transformation, and all things mystical in life, Scorpio season will lend us the power and energy to transform parts of ourselves and areas of our lives from something that has been working against us, into something so beautifully powerful, that it embodies the Phoenix, regenerating itself from the ashes, transforming itself into a powerful mystical creature that turns pain into power.

We have the power to take what we've learned over the past couple of months, especially with what was revealed to us during Libra season, and transform that into something so solid and opportunistic that we are coming out on top. Relationships of all dynamics seem to get tested during Scorpio season as we want to meet others on a soul and karmic level. It’s when words don’t matter and energy trumps all. It’s when the lies expose themselves, jealousy gets piqued, and possessiveness and obsessions take over. Scorpio season is intense. It leaves no stone unturned and it forces us to get real with ourselves and the lives we’ve created.

We have had a rough year cosmically. With extreme highs and lows and earth shattering events causing us to review our life choices, and in some cases start completely over, building from the ground up. For many of us, we have been thrown back in time as we are forced to face ex-lovers coming out of the woodwork. We have been forced to re-examine our foundations such as our careers and home environments. We are living in such an honest and raw time now that we are able to cut through the bullshit, and get to the bottom of any truth.

Having the major heavy hitting planets now direct, especially Pluto (Scorpio’s ruler) we are seeing new paths, timelines, and chapters emerge that will take us to the next level of our human journey. Scorpio season will be very revealing and life changing as we take control of our current transformation and emerge better than ever.

It’s no wonder that Halloween takes place in Scorpio season, as the magic of the underworld comes out to walk the earth. The veil between realms thins and makes the magic and power of our intuition that much more intense. We should be prepared for some powerful revelations as we wade through the scorpion waters. These shifts in energy and perspective will act as the catalyst we need to take the final steps in completing the transformation we are currently in the midst of.

Pluto Goes Direct

Today, we have Pluto - the planet of death, rebirth, power, and transformation, going DIRECT. Pluto is still is in the sign of Capricorn - structures, foundations, government, banking, health, systems, etc. and has been a major contributor to old systems being destroyed in order to start new. After its 5 month retrograde, we are now ready to unleash our inner warrior and release our deepest and darkest dreams and desires onto the world.

Think back to April, is that when everything got paused and you felt yourself moving inward to explore the darkness? Many of us have had our structures rattled and some have even fallen to the ground. Whether this took place in your career, home life, relationships, within who you are, or in your mental plane, we have been politely avoiding cleaning up the mess.

Now that the energy from Saturn & Jupiter is preparing us to make some major shifts forward (both moving direct this month as well) the Universe is ready to wave the green flag for us to get moving. There is no holding us back after this month! We defined what it is our heart and soul wanted from us in Leo season, we had the organized and detailed energy of Virgo season to help us think and analyze how we are going to make it happen, and now Libra season is offering us the opportunity to make things balanced and fair again, restoring the peace and harmony in our lives. Now with Pluto going direct, only HOURS after the New Moon in Libra peaks, the time for action and transformation is NOW, and this will help us put a firm ending to some karmic cycles as we step into our power and start a new chapter and cycle.

Welcome To Libra Season

As the energy to "take action" has been building under the organized and detailed influence of Virgo season, we are now going to hit the ground running looking to balance the areas in life that have gotten out of whack.

Today marks the beginning of the race, triggering the Fall Equinox and the beginning of Libra season. Many of us have been in the awkward space between chapters ending, but new chapters not quite ready to begin. In this last week of September, we will have lots of planetary support to step out of the planning and visualization stage of our new goals and dreams, and into a place of power and action, restoring our energy, mind, body and soul, along the way.

We already have Mercury, the planet of communication and conversation, here in Libra, the sign of balance, harmony, and one-on-one relationships, along with Mars - the warrior, standing up for ourselves, pushing for what is right, and what needs to be advocated for in our relationships. Remember how Virgo season came with a warning to be mindful about how you speak to others, and yourself? How to be mindful that Virgo energy could make your tongue sharp and maybe exercise critical judgement on yourself or others? Well, with both the Sun, Mercury, and Mars now in Libra, the energy will provide you with an opportunity to clear the air in any conversation that potentially hurt others or caused confusion during the Virgo season. We can expect everyone to lower their voices and be calmer, more pleasant and gentle.

Libra is a very harmonious sign, offering balance and fairness in all that we do. Because Libra is focused on relationships (not just romantic ones), the way we communicate one-on-one will be heightened as we have the opportunity to clear the air (if needed), and to express ourselves with such ease and kindness that you can get to the bottom of any issue without "shit hitting the fan".

Today we have our Equinox! It is at this time of year that we focus on our abundance, as our ancestors used this time to harvest their crops, to help them last through the dark days of winter. It’s important for you to recognize that this is a changing time in your spiritual journey. It’s a time to quiet the mind and look inward to see what messages come up for you. If you recognize that you have a “lack” perspective (not having enough, money, energy, food, etc.), I invite you to shift your focus on what you DO have, and adopt the abundance perspective (I have love, support, shelter, etc.).

As the seasons change, so do our Souls. This is a time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and what parts within us that still need to be healed. Winter is a time for healing, so it’s only natural that we shift our focus into tying up lose ends in our harvest period, before entering into a state of hibernation and healing.

The Equinox triggers the Sun moving from its time in Virgo, to entering into Libra officially initiating Libra season. Libra season is a time when the scales of life are balanced, both naturally, or with a gentle, but loving nudge. There is an air about Libra season that literally sweeps change in so gently and peacefully, that you may not even realize the changes have taken place. Libra is all about what is fair in the world. If you have any legal matters on your plate, Libra energy will support you, making sure the decision is as fair as possible.

Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and pleasure, rules Libra making things of love, beauty, and luxury a focal point. She’s actually in Scorpio right now, intensifying our wants, needs, and desires for true connection and intimacy in our relationships. Libra energy gently sweeps into our lives and makes things balanced and pretty again. Relationships, both old and new, will benefit from Libra’s energy, as there is nothing more important under this influence then making sure our relationships are balanced and filled with love.

Mercury in Virgo

Today we have Mercury, the messenger of the Gods - ruling over our mental plane information, and communication - entering into Virgo. Virgo, is an earth sign, and is one of Mercury’s natural homes and places of power. Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini and feels most aligned in these signs. As the natural ruler of these placements, Mercury’s energy works best in these signs than any other. Although Mercury in Gemini is a favourable placement, Virgo is where Mercury feels the most powerful and productive!

Virgo is the sign of analyzing and organization. Mercury’s movement into Virgo will allow us to examine situations and information with a sharp, keen, eye. With a heightened sense of detail, and the ability to analyze and organize our thoughts, feelings, and of course life situations, this placement will lend us the energy to take action, and help us get serious to buckle down to get things done.

Our communication abilities will be powerful as we are able to communicate with clear intent and reason, cutting through all the bullsh*t to get straight to the point. Although this particular placement wouldn’t be consider a lot of “fun”, it’s exactly the energy we need to get back to reality after a beautifully, chaotic, time in Leo. Although most don’t look forward to getting back to reality, this placement makes us not be whiners about it. Instead it empowers us to get a grip and get things done!

This will be a time when productivity is at an all time high, meaning your to-do list will be organized and completed based on priority and will be crossed off the list of things to do in an orderly fashion. The progress we make in our lives this month will be huge under the supporting energy of mercury in Virgo, and will lend exactly what most of us need to help move us forward after getting stuck in a rut with the energetic chaos of the summer.

The only warning I could provide you with for this placement, is to be aware that you are not overly critical of yourself and/or others. Criticism is highly possible at this time, as Virgo energy has a tendency to nit pick and be "judgey" due to their overthinking and critical mind. No one is harder on themselves than a Virgo, so the energy could encourage us very honestly without intent to harm. Be aware of your words and make sure you deliver information with tact as the discriminatory energy of this placement will have sharp words on the tip of everyone’s tongues.

That being said, you can only control yourself and please be aware that others may not have the same awareness as you do. So if you find yourself on the receiving end of a critical judgement or criticism, please just recognize that the one with the sharp tongue just isn’t aware that the energy of this placement is causing them to speak out of tune. Mercury Direct in Aquarius

Mercury - the messenger of the Gods ruling over the mental plane, effecting how we think, how we form new opinions, and how we communicate - has been retrograde taking us back to revisit some topics and themes from the past that needed a bit more closure.

Mercury first fell asleep at the wheel back on January 30th, creating a conflict between our heart and our head. Once mercury actually went retrograde, all bets were off and our mental planes totally shut down leading us to have to trust and surrender to the universe and the emotional and karmic journey we were now on.

Mercury’s retrograde had us retracing our steps with the ideas and new goals we had since the beginning of the year. We had our realities shift rapidly and many of us have been lost in a whirlwind of confusion trying to make sense of all that has transpired.

We are now in Pisces season bringing up all the feels to heal and new dreams we’re trying to create. We will have stronger intuitions to help us connect the dots and with today’s Moon now in Gemini (Mercury’s in its place of power in Gemini), mercury comes back online, now very much awake out of his 3 week slumber.

With all planets direct we get to start moving forward from the emotional stand still we’ve been stuck in. The full moon in virgo is about a week away (Mercury also rules Virgo) and this full moon will illuminate the details we’ve been missing and reveal some pieces of the puzzle we’ve been searching for. This Mercury ruled full moon will help us get our minds in order, while mercury direct in Aquarius is helping us to break free from the situations we’ve been stuck in. This is a time to retrace our steps from mid January up until now, cleaning up the conversations that went wrong, and the straightening out the details that went to mush as the retrograde played its game.

With Mercury, (the planet of communication, information, and expression) leaving the hardworking, goal oriented energy of Capricorn, we now have triggered our thirst for knowledge as it makes its way into Aquarius.

The time Mercury spent in Capricorn lent us an amazing energy to sort things out and get a bit more organized, logical, and practical in our lives, especially in the ways of thinking, processing the information being revealed to us, and expressing ourselves with more clarity. We take that beautiful foundation which we created during the past month and are now transforming our energy into one where we are going after whatever knowledge and information we need to get our Capricorn plans into motion.

Aquarius is an air sign and the transition Mercury makes into an air sign (being an air energy itself) is one of ease and absolute brilliance! We are open to new concepts and new ways of doing things. We are eager to learn all there is to know about what it takes to bring our dreams to life.

When Mercury moves into Aquarius, we are suddenly experiencing life at an accelerated rate. We are taking in details and information from our lives and processing it with extreme levels of efficiency and the ability to think outside of the box to come up with creative solutions will appear as moments of pure brilliance. Our emotional, and even spiritual sides take a back seat through this transit as all this air energy infuses our intellects with a higher vibration for us to grow upon. After what has been a very forward-thinking time of inspiration and very hungry quest for knowledge, Mercury moves out of Sagittarius and into the very logical and practical sign of Capricorn. Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, is shifting our mindset now to a more down-to-earth approach as we find a way to bring our genius ideas for the future into our reality.

With Mercury now in Capricorn, we are a bit more rational now as we look at all the ideas and inspirations we received under the influence of Mercury being in Sagittarius, realizing the importance of our focus is now on our foundational goals.

We are now setting the stage for our inner dreams to come to life, and that stage needs to be a pillar of strength for us to grow upon. It is time for us to use our knowledge and our new found truth in practical ways. We need to ground, connecting our physical selves to this physical world before our higher level of consciousness gets revamped and carried away.

We are restructuring our ideas, beliefs, and inner voice to be in alignment with our inner truths and desires, and with the energy of Mercury moving into Capricorn we will now be able to speak with more clarity and power then ever before. We are realistic in our endeavours, realizing that Mercury in Sagittarius bit off a bit more than we can chew. We have so many things on our to-do list that we want to bring to life, that this Capricorn energy will help us narrow down the list to essential tasks only, helping us to organize our thoughts and actions to actually achieve and accomplish what will be our platform of strength moving forward.

Capricorn is the ultimate businessman, and achieves greatness in a steady, organized, disciplined fashion. They aren't afraid of hard work and believe in the importance of the smaller details being perfected to equal a successful long-term goal.

Being the builder of the zodiac, Capricorn will lend us the energy to arrange our ideas and thought processes to see them fit together in the most logical way, and of course, with the least amount of resistance. Once the plan has been thought out and approved, only then will we be able to take action and start turning our dreams into reality.

Capricorn is a very straightforward, no-time-for-bullshit kind of energy. They have perfected the element of emotional detachment from their projects to prevent mistakes and illogical and irrational moves or thinking. Be cautioned that this energy could definitely have the potential to hurt other's feelings during Mercury's time in Capricorn, as we are so focused on our ambitions and goals that we could very well overlook the emotions of others due to our actions, or ignorance. There is a direct energy backing our words, and although they may be true and riddled with honesty, they can also come of very direct, blunt, and to the point. We’ll see shift in the topics that interest us, and are very happy to indulged in convos about spiritualism, and the mystical world we live in.

There is a deep sense of wanting to share our beliefs, and to help others expand their minds to ideas they’ve been closed off to. This energy is very excitable, and because of that, we tend to lose focus as we jump from one thing to the next. We may feel a bit scatter brained and overwhelmed where our thoughts are concerned.

Although this energy may cause us to be “in your face” with the overly excited and cheerful expression of truth, we do have to watch out for not over-exaggerating our words and ideas. We also don’t want to bite off more than we can chew. We dream big and adopt grand visions under this influence, which is great to expand the curiosity of the mind, but can come back to bite us once Mercury moves onto Capricorn, bringing us back to earth just before the new year.

Welcome To Sagittarius Season

Congratulations to us all for making it through Scorpio season! It's been a tough energy to navigate and realistically, even Scorpio's are happy to have the season come to a close.

Sagittarius is a fire sign that is so optimistic and cheerful that there's essentially no way to sit in the depths of emotion in Scorpio any longer. When the sun moves into Sagittarius the mood is light, cheery, and ready to explore new areas of the world. This happy-go-lucky sign is far more flexible, creative and expressive than the other fire signs, and far more light-hearted than the stubborn, emotional sign of Scorpio.

If you look at Scorpio season as the unearthing time, the time where our deepest and darkest truths, feelings and desires were forced to the surface, than Sagittarius season is the light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. Sagittarius is known as the philosopher, wanting to learn all there is to know about the world and topics of interest. It's a inquisitive energy, curious about what we should do with the information we received during Scorpio season and how to implement it in our lives to make us better, especially as we look towards the future and what life has in store for us.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter who has been in Capricorn for the past year helping Saturn and Pluto to play their part in the great awakening that is 2020. Jupiter in Capricorn has been a very heavy and slow growth and expansion. Jupiter is used to taking action and seeing things happen quickly, but while in earthy Capricorn, we have been beaten down by tough-love lessons that have backed us into a corner of forced change.

The Sun moving into Sagittarius will infuse us with an upbeat energy and make you feel a bit more open-minded than usual. Because Mercury’s retrograde shadow has just come to a close, we will see our ideas and the amount of information we are processing accelerate in great rates. The Sun is Sag tends to be a straight shooter and a bit blunt with the unfiltered truth, so now that mercury is direct post shadow, we have to be mindful of how we are communicating.

Sagittarius season also has tendency for all of us to overstep on other peoples boundaries as they can push your boundaries as well. You may notice that you get cut off in conversation having others speak over you, and of course the frustration levels are higher and trigger points are more sensitive to prompt a fiery reaction. Watch your words as there is a higher potential to come across harsher than you would like, leading to hurt feeling and defensive communications among your family, friends and co-workers.

Regardless of the potential for miscommunications to happen, Sagittarius season will be the light-hearted energy we need coming out of Scorpio season. It will be a time when you are finally feeling a bit more stable, and even more cheerful than usual. Mercury Enters Scorpio

Mercury, the messenger of the Gods, ruling over our mental plane, how we receive information, form new ideas and expressions, and communicate that information outwards, is entering the deep, dark waters of Scorpio once again.

Mercury first entered into scorpio on September 27th, before going retrograde and backtracking into Libra. Mercury finally went direct in Libra on November 3rd - USA election day - where we’ve been observing misinformation, lies, deceit, corruption, and utter chaos ever since.

Although mercury in Libra usually fights for justice and what is fair, mercury isn’t quite awake yet and won’t be until his shadow period is over on November 19th. Mercury now re-entering scorpio waters will help us find the truth. It will dig into the darkness of corruption and expose the real details and truth for all to see.

This particular energy shift will shift our minds into a more analytical state of questioning. We are blending our intellect with our intuition to dig up the important details we’ve shoved to the side within ourselves, and the information we’ve been choosing to avoid in our personal relationships. Because we are also in Scorpio season, there are lots of endings and closures taking place in order for us to renew ourselves, rebirth ourselves, and resurrect ourselves into a brand new version for this next chapter.

Personal relationships have been tested as intimacy levels have either strengthened or fallen apart. Those who have been experiencing lies and deceit in relationships will see the truth for what it is and make the right decision on how to proceed. We have a few weeks left to make sense of all that has transpired and to have the heart to heart convos we need to have to clear the air. Welcome To Scorpio Season

Today the Sun moves out of Libra where we focused on restoring love, peace, harmony, and balance to our lives and relationships, and moves into Scorpio where we dive deep into our unconscious self. 

This past Libra season wasn't really the kind of energy we are use to under this zodiac's influence. Normally, Libra season would be happy and joyful, spreading love and harmony into our relationships, beautifying our surroundings and lending a power of fairness into all we do.

This Libra season was much darker and heavier than usual. We can blame mars (scorpio’s co-ruler) being retrograde for adding some frustrating fuel to our fire as we really struggled with balancing topics and themes of I vs. You, Me vs. We, Us vs. Them, along with a huge focus into our inner worlds to see what it is we are truly passionate about and what it is we actually desire.

Now the time has come to slip into the mysterious side of life as Scorpio season takes over. Scorpio being the most mis-understood sign of the zodiac, is a natural detective that isn't afraid to dive deep within one's self to explore the inner most dreams and desires of our Soul.

We have had a rough year cosmically. Venus Enters Virgo

Venus - the Goddess of love, beauty, money, and pleasure - moves out of the fiery, playful and semi-dramatic energy of Leo, and gets a bit more serious in Virgo. Although Virgo season is behind us, we revisit some of the energy now that Venus has moved into the sign.

Venus focuses on who and what brings her joy, who and what she loves, and holds her values and worth of extreme importance. Welcome To Libra Season

As the energy to "take action" has been building under the organized and detailed influence of Virgo season, we are now going to hit the ground running looking to balance the areas in life that have gotten out of whack.

Today marks the beginning of the race, triggering the Fall Equinox and the beginning of Libra season. Many of us have been in the awkward space between chapters ending, but new chapters not quite ready to begin. In this last week of September, we will have lots of planetary support to step out of the planning and visualization stage of our new goals and dreams, and into a place of power and action, restoring our energy, mind, body and soul, along the way.

We already have Mercury, the planet of communication and conversation, here in Libra, the sign of balance, harmony, and one-on-one relationships. Remember how Virgo season came with a warning to be mindful about how you speak to others, and yourself? How to be mindful that Virgo energy could make your tongue sharp and maybe exercise critical judgement on yourself or others? Well, with both the Sun and Mercury now in Libra, the energy will provide you with an opportunity to clear the air in any conversation that potentially hurt others or caused confusion during the Virgo season. Today we have our Equinox! It is at this time of year that we focus on our abundance, as our ancestors used this time to harvest their crops, to help them last through the dark days of winter. It’s important for you to recognize that this is a changing time in your spiritual journey. It’s a time to quiet the mind and look inward to see what messages come up for you. If you recognize that you have a “lack” perspective (not having enough, money, energy, food, etc.), I invite you to shift your focus on what you DO have, and adopt the abundance perspective (I have love, support, shelter, etc.).

As the seasons change, so do our Souls. This is a time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and what parts within us that still need to be healed. Winter is a time for healing, so it’s only natural that we shift our focus into tying up lose ends in our harvest period, before entering into a state of hibernation and healing.

The Equinox triggers the Sun moving from its time in Virgo, to entering into Libra officially initiating Libra season. Libra season is a time when the scales of life are balanced, both naturally, or with a gentle, but loving nudge. There is an air about Libra season that literally sweeps change in so gently and peacefully, that you may not even realize the changes have taken place. Libra is all about what is fair in the world. If you have any legal matters on your plate, Libra energy will support you, making sure the decision is as fair as possible.

Mercury Enters Virgo

Today we have Mercury, the messenger of the Gods, entering into Virgo. Virgo, an earth sign, is one of Mercury’s natural homes. Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini and feels most at home in these signs. As the natural ruler of these placements, Mercury’s energy works best in these signs than any other. Although Mercury in Gemini is a favourable placement, Virgo is where Mercury feels the most powerful and productive!

Virgo is the sign of organization. Mercury’s movement into Virgo will allow us to examine situations and information with a sharp, keen, eye. With a heightened sense of detail, and the ability to analyze and organize our thoughts, feelings, and of course life situations, this placement will lend us the energy to take action, and help us get serious to buckle down to get things done.

Our communication abilities will be powerful as we are able to communicate with clear intent and reason, cutting through all the bullsh*t to get straight to the point. Although this particular placement wouldn’t be consider a lot of “fun”, it’s exactly the energy we need to get back to reality after a beautifully, chaotic, summer.

Many people sense the element of seriousness around the beginning of September anyways with kids getting back to school and summer vacations coming to an end - and with all the craziness of this year, adjusting back to any kind of “normal” routine is much needed by many. Although most don’t look forward to getting back to reality, this placement makes us not be whiners about it. Instead it empowers us to get a grip and get things done!

This will be a time when productivity is at an all time high, meaning your to-do list will be organized and completed based on priority and will be crossed off the list of things to do in an orderly fashion. The progress we make in our lives this month will be huge under the supporting energy of mercury in Virgo, and will lend exactly what most of us need to help move us forward after getting stuck in a rut with the energetic chaos of the summer.

The only warning I could provide you with for this placement, is to be aware that you are not overly,  critical of yourself and/or others. Criticism is highly possible at this time, as Virgo energy has a tendency to nit pick and be "judgey" due to their overthinking and critical mind. Jupiter Retrogrades In Capricorn

Jupiter - the planet of growth, abundance, expansion, and spirit - goes retrograde today in Capricorn. It takes Jupiter 12 years to visit all of the signs and because of that, it’s been 12 years since Jupiter went retrograde in Capricorn. Jupiter first entered into Capricorn last December, where; with the help from Saturn and Pluto, created an absolute blimp in history with this current global pandemic.

Jupiter is big, extreme, too much, and is a whole lot of extra. His placement among the stars exaggerated and grew this global pandemic to a huge state of concern. I’m not saying it’s not a big deal, but Jupiter’s influence has a tendency to make things appear bigger than they actually are.

Saturn and Venus joined Pluto already in retrograde, this week and with mercury moving into his place of power, we are now positioned to do some deep karmic healing through the way we communicate with others.

Jupiter on its own, retrograding in Capricorn would lead us on an introverted journey of exploring our own truth and renewing our beliefs. Jupiter is the great philosopher of the zodiac is very connected to the spiritual journey we are here to have. Jupiter in Capricorn is about our roles and responsibilities in life and where we need to take the leadership role on being our own authority.

Now retrograde, we can move inside ourselves to take a good look at how far we’ve come, how we’ve even gotten here, what it is we believe in, where we’ve been living in extremes, and basically, we get down to the truth.

Mars has entered pisces blurring our vision of the future. Mars is usually very direct and straight-forward but is forced to go with the flow under this influence. This, paired with Jupiter’s retrograde in Capricorn will allow us to dig deep within ourselves to unleash our inner spiritual warrior; the version of us that picks ourselves up after we crumble to the ground. This fire energy is not only dangerous and destructive, but it holds the power to regenerate and birth a brand new belief system within ourselves

Be cautious of your self confidence while Jupiter is retrograde. We have a tendency to lose faith within ourselves because we are questioning everything and lose sight of what we know to be true. Don’t get down on yourself for too long. Take a minute when your spirits are high, to write down your big picture vision, your goal, your desired outcome. And every time you feel your hope and faith slipping you can refer back to your note to remind you of what you need to focus on.

Classically, a retrograde is a time to rewind, rest, reflect, rework, revise, re-organize and recalibrate. Because Jupiter is at play, you can expect all of those revisions to be in your own spiritual beliefs and the vision you hold for yourself.
