Copper is an essential mineral found in plant life and in the human body. The use of copper dates back over 10,000 years, and is a great conductor of energy. Because our bodies operate on a basic mineral and metal makeup, as well as the electrical impulses that keep our heart pumping, our blood moving, and our overall body system in good functioning order, introducing copper jewellery to your life can help you feel better.

From a physical standpoint, copper has been said to help alleviate joint stiffness and pain, it aids on absorbing minerals into your body, it promotes heart health, and the immune system responds better when copper is introduced.

5 Health Benefits Of Wearing Copper Bracelets

  • Joint stiffness and Joint pain. Thousands of people have felt relief and relaxation from joint problems, especially those with joint stiffness. ...
  • Mineral absorption. A pure copper bracelet has micro minerals such as iron and zinc. ...
  • Increasing cardiovascular health. ...
  • Healthier immune system. ...
  • Anti-aging.

Energetically speaking, copper helps move the energy in our bodies, helping to remove blockages, keep the chi (energy) free and clear of obstacles, and it helps to stabilize the electrical charge that our bodies naturally have and produce.

When The Energy Boutique's SHOP opens on the 21st, I will be offering a few different styles of copper bracelets that will help you to feel a difference in your overall state of health and wellness. I have noticed a very cool, tingling and calming effect when wearing copper jewellery and I hope you will feel the same calming and energetic charge as I do.

The 12 Days Of Solstice

"Grounding" is a term you hear often and although people have a good idea of what it means, there's still a lot of confusion on what it is, how to do it, and why we should even do it in the first place.

Grounding (or earthing) is a practice in which you connect to the earth, to allow all parts of yourself integrate together as they connect to the universal energies of the earth. We are made up of our emotional body, our mental body, our Soul body, and our Physical body.

Those who are air dominate in their charts will be stuck in the mental body, using their intellectual minds to navigate through life. Those with water dominate elements in their chart will be mainly operating from their emotional and intuitive selves. Those with lots of fire in their charts take action and need to be on the move with all of their energy and drive, and those dominate in earth will be slow and steady, focused on their earthly tasks and chores.

Our soul body is our energetic make up of how all of the other bodies interact with one another. The completeness and integration of all parts of yourself equal your spirit, the energy that drives you through this earthly realm.

Grounding is important because it anchors each part of self to one another as you connect to the earth. It integrates your mental state with your emotional state, with your energy, passion and drive, and then harness that power within your physical body allowing you to operate from a balanced place of power.

Although there are more ways to ground then to connect with the earth, sticking your bare feet in grass, dirt, or sand is the quickest, cheapest and most efficient way to connect to source.

Depending on your elemental make up, there could be one form of grounding that works better for you over the other. Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) need wind, electricity, and mind exercises. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) needs water, salt, and emotional calming. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) need exercise, focus, and water. Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) need the dirt, the earth, nature.

One thing all the signs need is to ground.

When The Energy Boutique's SHOP opens its virtual doors on the 21st, I will be offering Grounding Mats. It is a mat that is filled with positive and negatived charged ions that, when you allow contact with your body, your energy will be anchored and integrated together.

This mat is a great tool to have at work to have under your desk, helping you to calm your stresses and make you more clear headed when interacting with your co-workers. This is also great for people who live in apartment buildings who don't have access to a green space. This is amazing to lay on during your yoga practice, sleep on, or sit on any time you are feeling over active in you mind, your heart, or are feeling overwhelmed with all of your access energy.

A Grounding Mat is a great tool to have access too, to provide the grounding effects at any time, in any situation. I can't wait for you to try it for yourself!

The Chariot

THE CHARIOT (07) is the seventh card in the major arcana in the tarot deck. It has a dual meaning like all of the cards in the tarot do. The positive aspects of this card are success, control, determination, willpower, action and control.

When a seeker has this card revealed to them it can suggest that they have reached a certain point of accomplishment due to their hard work and determination. The warrior in this card has reached this point, not by holding onto the reigns and steering this chariot into victory, but by encompassing all that he is, focusing his energy on his goal, and remaining solid in his place of power. He allows the Universal energy to guide him to his ultimate destination.

This is a card of mind power and control, having a vision so clear that the forces of energy and destiny lead him to his achievements. This is a card of action and pride. Constantly moving forward not with his physical force, but rather with his connection to the divine. His mind is strong and even though the chariot is lead by two opposing energies constantly trying to take him of course, he is solid in his vision work and remains centered in his end goal.

This card can also represent opposition, lack of direction and focus, and self-discipline. When presenting the negative aspects of this card, the seeker needs to recognize that their mind, their way of thinking, and their lack of focus is the energy block preventing them from moving forward and achieving their dreams.

It comes with an encouraging message to stop the scattered thinking, to step up their self- discipline and control, and focus only on the end goal. By training the brain to focus solely on the desired outcome, you will have your chariot moment of accomplishment in no time.

As always, if you require any assistance navigating the current energies of your life, please book a session online, and I'd be more than happy to help guide you through.

The Lovers

THE LOVERS (06) is the sixth trump card in the major arcana of the Tarot deck. This card symbolizes relationships, the love, harmony, and soulful alignment of a relationship; or, issues of dis-trust, dis-harmony, and unbalanced intentions within a relationship.

This card is often a reminder to the seeker to evalute their current wants, needs, and desires, for a realtionship, and even bring some wandering thoughts into the picture. The message that comes with this card is to review your choices and options very carefully as you navigate through the emotional waters of connecting with another person. It shows the seeker where there is loved lost, where love can be rekindled, and where the love has stopped growing. It's a complex emotional card, as it suggests a careful consideration of the feelings involved of both parties.

THE LOVERS (06) is astrologically related to Gemini, the duality of male and female, good and bad, light and dark. It represents the balancing of energies to act as one.

This card often appears when you are contemplating the next level of commitment with your existing partner, or a pivot point in figuring out whether the relationship is divinely guided to a happy outcome. Many times, if there is any doubt in a relationship, or if there is another love interest to consider outside of the existing relationship, THE LOVERS (06) card will be revealed to advise the seeker that this decision will carry much weight as it will determine the future of the relationship.

As always, if you require any assistance navigating the current energies of your life, please book a session online, and I'd be more than happy to help guide you through.

The Hierophant

THE HIEROPHANT (05) is the 5th card in the Tarot's Major Arcana. It embodies the masculine energy, and the counterpart to THE HIGH PRIESTESS (02), serving as a figure of religious or spiritual guidance.

THE HIEROPHANT (05) can closely resemble a Pope or Religious teacher, as he blesses those who seek his counsel with wisdom and other worldly knowledge. He appears in the Tarot's artistry as a figure sitting between two pillars in a sacred space such as a temple. He wears 3 different coloured robes along with a 3 tiered crown, both symbolizing the 3 worlds he connects with (the conscious, the sub-conscious, and the super-conscious realms).

THE HIEROPHANT (05) points one hand to the sky funnelling blessings from heaven, as the other hand points to the blessings here on earth. Those who kneel before him, do so with the intention of learning life's mysteries, unlocking the secrets of the Universe, and seeing the integration of the blessings from both heaven and earth.

The energy surrounding this card when pulled in a reading, suggests an individual seeking spiritual wisdom, aligning with a traditional community of like-minded people, and entering into a new phase of spiritual development.
